HAIRLINE & SCALP.

Day 1 - Day 3
➵Keep the hairline/scalp area dry.
➵Avoid picking, touching, exfoliating the tattooed area (you may cause trauma to the tissue and increase the possibility of skin damage, infection, or prematurely removing the ink)
➵Avoid razoring for at least 3 weeks after your initial appointment (you may cause trauma to the tissue and increase the possibility of skin damage, infection, or prematurely removing the ink)
➵Avoid shampoo, conditioner or other hair products for at least 7 days after your initial appointment (as this may cause fading or colour change)
➵No sweating, physical exercise, sun, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming (pools or ocean as this may cause fading or colour change)
➵Refrain from using straighteners, blow dryers or other heat products around the hairline/scalp area
➵Colours will appear brighter and more sharply defined immediately following the procedure, however, will lighten and soften in 3-10 days after your treatment.

Day 4 - Day 6
➵You may lightly wash your hair with water only
➵Avoid shampoo, conditioner or other hair products for at least 7 days after your initial appointment (as this may cause fading or colour change)
➵No sweating, physical exercise, sun, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming (pools or ocean as this may cause fading or colour change)
➵Refrain from using straighteners, blow dryers or other heat products around the hairline/scalp area
➵Approximately after a week, the top layer of your scalp may begin to scab and slough (flake) in certain spots. This is called ‘shedding’ and is a natural part of the healing process. These sections may appear ‘patchy’ and extremely light compared to the non-shedded sections. The pigment will eventually soften and settle into the appropriate shade (once the shedding is complete).
➵ It should take approximately 2 weeks for your new tattoo to shed completely and to form a natural look.

Day 7 - Onwards
➵You may wash your hair as you would normally (products free from sulphates, parabens, MIT, triclosan propylene are recommended)
➵You can now use clippers to trim the hair (for in between touch-up appointments)
➵You may resume your exercise routine. Be mindful of sun, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming (pools or ocean as this may cause fading or colour change)

Longevity of your Tattoo
➵ Proper aftercare is a very important aspect of the overall satisfaction, success and health of your tattoo. It is highly recommended that you follow the aftercare instructions given so that you can achieve the best possible outcome.
➵ The aftercare instructions will help limit/prevent any infection or additional problems and ensure that a healthy and successful healing process is attained.
➵ Excessive sun exposure and swimming in chlorinated water does affect the pigment. It is recommended that you use sunscreen daily to help protect the longevity of your tattoo.
